We offer 3 things
- An environment where you have real impact. Small team, lots of delegation, few approval meetings. We dislike people management and the overhead required to manage large teams: we will try to build a huge product with a tiny team.
- Work that matters. We are rebuilding the infrastructure to hire & pay workers. If we succeed, most people you know will be paid through us.
- High density of talent. Everyone we hire is “the best person I know” according to someone. You will be challenged to raise your game & learn much faster than anywhere else
We don’t offer
- Predictability. We are a new company. We learn as we go, and adapt. We have plans & roadmaps but accept that they will change as we learn new things. We’re not in love with our ideas - “strong opinions, loosely held”. In other words we don’t have yearly OKRs, and accept that our monthly plans might change mid-month.
- 9-to-5. The flip side of being in a position where you have real impact. In a small team, people depend on you. Work will not be a predicatable 9-to-5 every day, but some days you just will have to work late to ensure you are not blocking your colleagues, or to work through the backlog you’ve accumulated.
Remote work policy
- We have an office in Milan, and founders are working out of the office. You can work remotely, as long as you’re on the same timezone. Note: this does not apply to Sales.
- If remote, you will travel to Milan regularly:
- Onboarding is in Milan. 1 to 3 sessions of variable duration. We will cover travel costs.
- ~3 times a year we will organize a company retreat. We will cover travel costs.
